Sears
Dr Al Sears has already made
a name for himself as a preventative medicine
Doctor.
However, this
was not enough for him. He wanted to do more than
intervening when all seemed lost; he wanted to prevent the
heart from getting damaged and diseased. In his career of
close to two decades he has treated more than 15 thousand
patients successfully. He used each of these cases to
strengthen the belief he had - that there is more he could
do for the heart than cure it when it becomes
diseased.
His perseverance paid off
when his research showed that it is possible indeed to
not only reverse heart problems, but also make it healthy
and resilient. There are simple things anyone can
introduce into his or her life to ensure that there is no
heart attack and no disease. This is the secret that Dr
Al Sears is sharing with you in his book, ‘The Doctor’s
Heart Cure’.
This is what the Editorial Review on Amazon
says about the author, “ Dr. Al Sears owns and operates ‘The Center
for Health and Wellness’, an integrative medicine and
anti-aging clinic in South Florida where he has treated
more than 15,000 patients. Over the past 15 years, he has
developed a revolutionary concept of integrative medicine
by blending the best of modern western medicine with the
sciences of nutrition, herbology and exercise physiology.
He founded The Wellness Research Foundation, a non-profit
organization devoted to health research and education.
His practice also includes the non-profit McCormick-Green
Center for Integrative Therapies, the Library for
Integrative Medicine, and an herbal apothecary of more
than 250 organic herbs used for treatments, research and
education.”
This description is by any
standards, quite impressive. Dr Al Sears is also
recognized as a highly reputed professional in his field.
“Dr. Sears has been appointed to the international panel
of experts of the Health Sciences Institute, (a worldwide
information service for integrative healthcare). He is
also an adjunct professor at Barry University where he
teaches courses in anatomy, human physiology, and
nutrition. He is a member of the American Academy of
Anti-Aging Medicine and is Board Certified in Anti-Aging
Medicine.”
This introduction is
sufficient to convince me as a reader that Dr Sears’ book
contains no fluff. The background of the author along
with the promise of a program that “can safely build an
impregnable heart” urged me to take this book
seriously.

The book is very refreshing
in the fact that it explodes most of the common myths
about the most popular diets of today. This is done
matter-of-factly and sincerely without any attempt to
malign any of these so-called ‘amazing diets’. Dr Al
Sears explains why human beings today find themselves in
the grip of various diseases, especially heart problems.
Once upon a time, death by heart attack was unheard of
before we reached our 60s; today such deaths are common
during or by our mid 40s. Why this shortening of life
span? What is wrong with us?
You will find all your
answers in the book, ‘The Doctor's Heart Cure’ by Al
Sears. The explanation is vivid yet simple and concise.
Anyone can understand the facts stated in this book and
follow the program that leads to a heart that is disease
free and strong. Side by side, you learn how to control a
host of other problems that would be plaguing you such as
being overweight, weakness, diabetes, anxiety, and many,
many others. It also tells you that your heart can stay
as young as you would want it to be – for
life.
Many people love this book
not as much for its ability to keep the heart healthy,
but for its magical solution to other health problems.
Denny Mike W from Nevada says, “In the past, high carb
and high starch had caused me to gain 20 pounds over four
years. Now, with Dr. Sears' program, I have been dropping
a steady pound a week with no hunger problems. Plus, I
feel much more energetic. I would definitely recommend
this book .”
There is also Lisa Nelson RD
of Yellowstone National Park, WY who writes, “I've
enjoyed reading this book. It's introduced ideas I'm not
sure science supports (such as the PACE program being
better than endurance activities), but it's worth looking
into further and a great alternative fitness
plan. If I remember
right, there were some comments about carbs I'm not 100%
on board with, but overall the material is "right on the
money" and a great guide to achieve heart
health.”
From all that I read and
heard I think this is an incredible book. It is excellent
because it blows away many myths regarding diets and
gives people a great chance to keep healthy and energetic
both in body and mind. This is material that can save
your life in more ways than one. It is the truth waiting
to be discovered, applied, enjoyed. The testimonials of
people all over the country are excellent - not only on
Dr Al Sears’ site but also on websites where bias-free
reviews and forums are listed.
The program is admired even
by those who question the concept such as Gail Page wrote
on 12 May 2009, “His book isn't as thorough as Reverse
Heart Disease Now by Sinatra and Roberts, but worth
getting for his PACE exercise program. I haven't actually
tried the PACE program (basically, interval training) and
it is something you would slowly work up to if you have
active heart disease, but it sounds like a great
program.” In the end all agree that the book, the program
PACE and other guidelines that Dr Al Sears promotes are
indeed great revelations.
If you are asking me for
anything I didn’t like about the book and a verdict, I
would say to the first part of the question ‘There is
very little to be negative about if at all, the only
small thing is that it would be better if you could see
Dr Sears in person’. To answer the second part of the
question I would say ‘Go for it. This book seems to me
like a life saver.’
It is amazing how simple
things become once you read the book, ‘The Doctor's Heart
Cure’ by Al Sears. The diet, the recommended dietary
supplements, and the method of exercising that should not
exceed 20 minutes a day is a dynamite
combination.
Jose C Amram, an Nuclear
Medicine Technologist from Altemonte Springs, Florida,
USA reinforces the findings of Dr Sears in his comment on
Amazon.com, “In a past career (nuclear medicine
technologist) one of my employers believed the ejection
fraction (stroke volume) to be the best measure of
cardiac health, as well as how quickly the subjects
recovered from the stress thallium/cardiolite bicycle
ergometer dynamic study. This is in agreement with Dr.
Sears' PACE concept”
As a reviewer, I would say
that the book is definitely a must-read and a must-do.
Since it has all the answers to the problems that the
modern world is facing, it would be a terrible loss to
you to let the chance to find eternal health pass you by.
Dr Al Sears’ book is worth its weight in gold because it
not only reverses heart problems, but also it offers you
the key for a healthier tomorrow in spite of our
advancing years.
I recommend it whole
heartedly as one hundred percent good reading and as a
plan for setting yourself up for strong heart
health.
